Opening Summer 2024
The Maltings in Weybourne will be one of Chestnut’s biggest redevelopments yet. Following a lengthy planning and approval process, work has now begun and once restored to its former glory The Maltings will be a stylish ‘home from home’ offering a games room, open-to-all bar and boot room.
Rich in character, there will be surprises at every corner but the centrepiece will be the Grain Store/Barn including a split level restaurant and bar, double height vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and brick, plus colourful furnishings with soft ambient lighting.
Offering 28 stylish bedrooms, including a honeymoon suite with a terrace and sea views, The Maltings provides a stunning location for weddings and private parties.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Expect the very best of British-based simple, quality cooking using the finest regional produce, including some from the next-door Kitchen Garden. (From ‘Field to Fork’ doesn’t get much closer!).
Furthermore, a wood-fired Parilla grill, as well as an open plan kitchen, will add warmth and drama to the dining out experience.
With one of North Norfolk’s most beautiful beaches only a 10 minute stroll away this is a coast with a beguiling history of brave seafarers and smuggling. Don those welly or walking boots, take in the sea air, and go exploring.
