Christmas Market

Christmas is coming to The Maltings. Join us on 12th December from 12 noon for local makers, Christmas crafts and plenty of good things to eat and drink. Browse the stalls for Christmas gifts, warm up with mulled wine or hot chocolate, and tuck into our market menu. The Salvation Army will be joining us too, filling The Maltings with brass carols from 1.30pm.

Secret Suppers

Good food, good company and a little mystery. The Maltings Secret Supper Series brings guests together for a collection of seasonal evenings in The Grain Store. From the flavours of the Norfolk coast to a warming December feast, no two suppers will be quite the same.

Each supper has its own theme and occasional guest speakers, local producers, and makers sharing their stories and bringing something different to the experience. Our chefs will create a three-course menu inspired by the season, with carefully chosen drinks served alongside it and plenty of Norfolk flavour woven in, but there’s a catch – what’s on the menu stays under wraps until the evening.

Come hungry, take a seat and enjoy the surprise.

Christmas Card Workshop

A little creativity for Christmas. Join us at The Maltings for a relaxed afternoon of watercolour painting with local artist Selcen Austen, as she guides you through creating your very own Christmas cards.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or enjoy picking up a paintbrush, settle in for a couple of hours of painting, good company and a little festive inspiration. All materials will be provided, along with tea, coffee and cake to enjoy as you create.

You’ll leave with your own hand-painted Christmas cards, ready to send to someone special.

£50 per person, including all art materials, tuition, tea, coffee and cake.

Jazz in The Main House

There’s something special about an evening of live jazz, a good drink in hand and nowhere else you need to be.

Join us in The Main House on the third Friday of every month for an evening of live music, good company and relaxed surroundings. From intimate duos to lively quartets, each session brings something a little different.

Launching Friday 20th November | 5pm–9pm
Returning every third Friday of the month. Come for a drink, stay for the music.

To secure your spot in The Main House, simply select 20th November and choose ‘Casual Dining’ when booking your table. Please note, your table may not be directly beside the musicians.
