From weddings and milestone birthdays to private dinners and family gatherings, The Grain Store is a space that adapts to the occasion.

Its vaulted flint walls provide a distinctive backdrop, while the layout can be tailored to suit everything from intimate celebrations to larger gatherings. For smaller occasions, the ground floor or first floor can also be hired independently, offering a private setting while retaining the character and atmosphere of the space.

The Club Room

Tucked away just off the Games Room, our Club Room is an intimate space designed for up to 13 guests. Perfect for boardroom-style meetings, private dining, or a relaxed wine tasting, it offers a quiet corner to gather, connect, and enjoy a little privacy away from the bustle.

The Library

Beside the main bar and lounge, the Library is a calm and comfortable space made for gathering at your own pace. With two generous sofas, inviting armchairs and the warmth of the fire close by, it’s ideal for informal meetings, leisurely afternoon teas, whisky tastings, or an evening spent with your book club. Relaxed, welcoming and full of character, it’s a space to settle into and stay awhile.

The Games Room

Tucked beside the bar, The Games Room is made for cocktails, conversation, and a little friendly competition. Available for private hire, it can be reserved alongside the Club Room, giving you exclusive use of both spaces.

A private dinner can easily drift into an evening of cocktails, games, and good company. With a wall-mounted TV and record player, it’s equally suited to team meetings that call for something a little less ordinary.

Our Day Delegate Rate includes everything you need for a productive day. Guests are welcomed with tea, coffee and a selection of pastries on arrival, followed by mid-morning refreshments with homemade biscuits, a working lunch, and afternoon tea or coffee with cake of the day. Mineral water, complimentary Wi-Fi, flipcharts and pens, plus a projector and screen or TV screen are all included.
