Our Main House offers its own easy-going kind of charm. A place for unhurried moments and simple pleasures – bar snacks, Norfolk sharing boards, and toasties from our Pantry Menu. No reservations, no rush, just good company and something lovely to eat and drink.

Main House Menus

Explore our Pantry Menu, discover cocktails, wine and more from the bar, or indulge in our Afternoon Tea Menu. The Main House invites you to pause, sip and stay a while. Pantry Menu is served between 1pm and 8pm daily. Afternoon Tea is served between 12pm and 4pm daily.

The Main Bar

At the heart of the Main House, Boulding's Bar is where the day finds its natural pause. There's no need to book ahead; it's a place for spontaneous moments and relaxed gatherings. Drop in after a long walk for a well-earned pint, gather over a glass of wine as evening settles in, or let dinner drift seamlessly into one more round.

The Games Room

Where time slows and laughter lingers. Gather by the log fire, put a record on, and settle in for a relaxed evening. There’s chequers, cards and conversation – best enjoyed with a whisky on the rocks, a well-made cocktail or a pint (or two). It’s a space for stories and a little friendly rivalry.

The Library

A place made for slowing down. Sink into the sofa and lose yourself in a good book – one from our shelves or one you’ve brought along. Mornings are for coffee and quiet company; evenings for a glass of wine and easy conversation. However you spend your time here, the Library is your space to unwind. This space can also be booked for private gatherings.

The Club Room

Just off the Games Room, it’s a private space for long dinners, wine tastings with friends, and meetings that feel a little less formal. Whether you’re hosting a celebration, a corporate away day, or an evening of good food and company, The Club Room offers a relaxed setting with plenty of character.

Book 13 Main House bedrooms and gather your favourite people for a night to remember. Arrive, unpack and settle in with welcome drinks and nibbles, before enjoying a pre-dinner cocktail, a three-course set-menu dinner and half a bottle of wine per person. After a restful night’s sleep, wake to a leisurely breakfast.

Enomatic Machine

Discover something new from our Enomatic wine machine, located in the Main House just opposite Reception.

Choose from a changing selection of wines and enjoy a tasting at your own pace. Pre-loaded Enomatic cards can be purchased from Reception or the bar during your visit, or added to your stay when booking.

If it’s your first time using the machine, our team will be happy to show you how it works and help you choose where to start. We can also arrange private tastings for groups looking to explore a little more.
