A Persian Spring Sharing Feast with Saima Khan
Last autumn, Saima Khan brought a Persian sharing feast to The Maltings that sold out and left guests lingering long after the last plate was cleared. This spring, she’s back – and the table is set once more.
Saffron, Sea & Salt is an intimate evening of communal Persian dining, where the flavours of spring take centre stage. Saima Khan, founder of The Hampstead Kitchen, whose culinary journey has taken her from London to royal residences and global gatherings, brings her signature style of story-led, generous feasting to The Maltings for one night only.
Saima will welcome you, introduce each dish – including jewelled saffron rice laden with Norfolk lobster and prawn, vibrant salads and slow-roasted saffron potatoes – and share a little of her own story.
To finish – an orange blossom and rose strawberry cheesecake, followed by saffron tea and miniature baklava, in the Main House.
